Meeting his gaze allows the viewer to sense a lifetime of knowledge gathered through work, relationships, and time spent within the rhythms of coastal living. With his straw hat framed by coconut trees and bright skies, the setting reflects the warmth and openness that define many Caribbean shores.
It is my way of recognizing the everyday leaders whose strength is often felt more than spoken.
