Sons Of This Sweet Soil - Print
from $50.50
“Sons Of This Sweet Soil” is inspired by two men standing within a sugar cane field, referencing a time when Trinidad’s landscape was deeply shaped by sugarcane plantations and the labor that sustained them. The figures represent strength, endurance, and a connection to the land that runs through generations.
It is my way of acknowledging the hands that worked the soil and the history that continues to live quietly within our communities.
